Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror and martial arts categories. Her style and method are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action films with a morbid fascination. She began her reviews in the latter half of 2009, and after she gained some fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. She remained member of the channel up until January 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. He has also had her as a guest on several episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows as well as occasional adult humor (including Baywatch (2017)). Her first review was in late 2009. She gained a lot in popularity thanks to her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as well as Phelous & the Movies. She was a member Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
